Frequently Asked Questions
There is no magic tip or trick that will instantly get your child to sleep. But with sleep training, you provide structured support that will allow your child to learn to how to self soothe and fall asleep independently. There are many methods that can be used, from very gentle to more rigid.
Crying is a natural way for babies to communicate. As we work through changes to your child’s habits and routines, some crying may occur as part of the process. I’ll help you understand the different types of cries your baby uses, so we can ensure their needs are met and step in to provide comfort when needed.
The techniques we use will be carefully tailored based on the detailed questionnaire you completed and our discussion during the initial consultation. Rest assured, I will never suggest or encourage anything that doesn’t align with your comfort level or parenting preferences.
I assess your child’s current sleep issues, your main concerns, parenting philosophy and goals for your family. I then create a fully customized sleep plan with a recommended plan of action and provide support while you implement that plan.
We can help your little one establish life long, healthy and independent sleep habits that lead to better quality sleep.
There are different package options that vary in the level of support based on your families needs. By working with me, you can take the guess work out of finding out where and how to start, and what exactly to do.
The biggest difference you will find when hiring me is the amount of support, guidance, and help that I provide from the moment you decide your family is ready for a change. Of course you can spend hours googling what to do, but every baby is different and there is no one size fits all when it comes to your child and their sleep journey. I spend time working with your family to learn their current issues, goals and parenting philosophy and I work to create a custom sleep plan that is aligned with who you are as a parent.
